In a grand celebration of achievement, R-II Builders, Inc. (R-II Builders) recently marked a significant milestone, commemorating 35 years of excellence, innovation, and success in the construction industry. The anniversary was a testament to the company’s journey, from its humble beginnings to its current position as a leader in the industry.

The event occurred on September 8, 2023, at 4:00 pm on the 10th floor of the Chancery Building, Lantana St., Cubao, Quezon City, a fitting location that reflected the company’s stature. The venue was enlivened with elegant design, featuring the company’s lucky color – emerald green, creating an atmosphere that resonated with the company’s identity. Every corner from the entrance to the main hall was a visual representation of the company’s rich history and achievements. The event started with a Holy Mass officiated by Fr. Arnel Recinto and co-celebrated by Fr. Alex Balatbat.

The evening’s festivities commenced with a spectacular production number by StarDanz, electrifying the atmosphere and setting the stage for an unforgettable celebration. The charismatic Ms. Lia Guerrero took the reins as the emcee, her presence commanding attention and setting the energy high. Amidst the excitement, Mr. Mark Roy Boado, the Vice President of Business Development Group, stepped forward with his signature wit and engaging demeanor and delivered the welcome remarks that perfectly captured the spirit of the night, enticing laughter and anticipation from the eagerly gathered audience.

The celebration brought together a distinguished gathering of past and present R-II Builders’ leaders, partners, clients, and employees. Notable dignitaries and key figures who played pivotal roles in the company’s journey were present and recognized. The highlight of the evening was a series of heartfelt speeches that captured the essence of R-II Builder’s evolution. The Chairman, Dr. Reghis M. Romero, shared insights into the beginnings, challenges faced, and pivotal moments that defined its trajectory. Gratitude was expressed to employees, clients, and stakeholders for their unwavering support. Key contributors and long-serving employees were recognized and celebrated for their dedication. In a ceremony
steeped in gratitude and recognition, the three former Presidents – Engr. Edmond Q. Sese, Mr. Red Romero, and Engr. Victor S. Songco – alongside the Chairman of the Board, was honored by the current company leadership. They were each presented with a unique, specially crafted stone, a symbol of their foundational
role in the firm’s enduring success. As they each took to the podium, their acceptance speeches resonated with wisdom and encouragement, weaving a tapestry of inspiration for the company’s current stewards and the workforce at large.

A part of this future vision is the presentation of the Mega Infrastructure Projects that was a part of the R-II Builders’ President’s Message, Engr. Catindoy.
